All You Have To Do Is Plan

Half Marathon Training, Week 4


Tuesday:  3 Miles, 20 minute strength training workout, 800 yard swim

Wednesday: Nike Training Club Body Flexor Workout

Thurday:  Ran 7 Miles 

Friday: Rest day! 

Saturday: Ran 3.2 Mile run 

Sunday: 1.2 Mile walk   

The reason why I had such a good week of training is because I planned and scheduled my training before the week started. Plan, Plan, Plan...it's the key to success, in every aspect of life, well for me anyway. I look forward to this week of training...especially since I'm planned in advance and it includes a spinning and swim workout perfect cross training cardio!

This past week of training was awesome! I'm excited because I hit my workout goals of the week: total running miles and crossing training. There's nothing like a good week of training to build your confidence for an upcoming race.
