- * Being competitive is not for everyone. I’m so not competitive with others (just myself); when I swam in high school and played softball I was really just happy to be part of a team. Not my children, the four year old...well, he has to win everything; and the seven year old puts way too much pressure on himself. For instance, he’s an awesome swimmer however if he doesn’t place in a meet he rather not swim at all. As a parent, I’m really not sure what to do…of course I'll keep encouraging him but does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions to keep him motivated even if he’s not the best?
- * I’m not a do-it-yourselfer-fixer upper like I so want to be, I screwed up my desk horribly, see here, but have to say that this table ain’t half bad…If I do say so myself!
- * Positivity breeds positivity; negativity breeds headaches, drama, self-doubt, a sad heart, a mean spirit, being judgemental and the list goes on and on...guess what I'm choosing, how about you?
- * Karma is a bitch. Witnessed it first hand for the second time in my life...man, oh man, she's a tough cookie!! Be careful what you wish for...

Oooooh, nice job with the table! Love learning more about you! :)
ReplyDeleteLoving what you did with that table. I've had a DIY project sitting in my garage for two years now. WTH? Gonna pull it out this spring and finally transform that dang thing.
ReplyDeleteAs for competition? It's me against me. I like it that way best because it cultivates constant self improvement.
